Eames® Walnut StoolsCharles and Ray Eames, 1960
Beautifully versatile, the solid walnut stool can be used anywhere in the house. Besides being perfect places to sit, they also serve as low tables, display surfaces or simply objects of functional art to be admired by the whole family.
In 1960, Ray Eames drew on her training as a sculptor to design a new kind of occasional piece for the lobby of the Time-Life building in New York City. Eames Walnut Stools became her favorite seats and were scattered about the Eameses' home.
